Future2 Wheel Classic

After two years of joining forces with Financial Planners to raise money to help kids in need, Gerard Tiffen and General Manager for HomeLoans Ltd Greg Mitchell have decided to challenge them at their own game.

That ‘game’ is the Future2 Wheel Classic, a charity fundraiser organised each year by Future2, the charitable foundation of the financial planning profession.  The 2014 Wheel Classic has set a 1050 km course to cycle from Melbourne to Adelaide in November.  The target is to raise at least $100,000 to add to the $420,000 brought in since 2010 when the first Wheel Classic rode from Bourke to Sydney.

“We are both Avid cyclists”, Gerard says. “I can never resist a challenge, whether in business or personal life, especially if it’s likely to make for a more successful and engaging end result.”

“In 2012 and 2013 I rode alongside my mate Jeremy Gillman-Wells (from Bravien Financial) and Greg Mitchell and we were among the top Wheel Classic fundraisers.  This year it’s time to give all the Financial Planners who take part, a bit of a run for their money, so Greg & I thought we could get a broking team together to raise money for a great cause and network with Australia’s best Financial Planners and  great people Living in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide.”
