Luton Charity Ball 2014

Each year Luton Properties steps it up and puts on an amazing night for a wonderful cause. This year Hotel Realm held the ‘Monte Carlo’ themed Charity Ball to support the Olivia Lambert Foundation, a charity founded in 2010 to assist families who have a child suffering from cancer.

At only two and a half years of age, Olivia Lambert was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and very aggressive cancer of the nervous system. Olivia courageously battled the disease and her parents relentlessly searched for a way to cure their little girl. Sadly in August 2012, after exhausting all treatment options, at just eight years or age, Olivia lost her battle with cancer. Her courage touched all who met her and her bravery inspired thousands.

With both a silent and live auction, we saw people generously digging deep and bidding on some wonderful auction prizes such as return flights to Nice with Emirates, Orthodontic treatment taken care of by Embrace Orthodontics and tickets to see Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry or Robbie Williams in the fully catered Audi Centre Canberra corporate box.

We were treated to the beautiful Sally Obermeder as Master of Ceremonies, entertained by the vivacious Ricki-Lee Coulter and enjoyed special guests Peter Overton and Alex Perry. The menu was delicious, from the confit duck and prosciutto entrée to the mini Croquembouche dessert and the service was second to none!

Richard Luton and his team should be tremendously proud, putting on a sell out occasion and raising over $100,000! Here at Tiffen & Co we are honoured and delighted to help sponsor such an admirable cause.
