Tiffen Cycling Team
We are pleased to be major sponsors of the Tiffen & Co cycling team for another year. The guys have been busy training and racing and no doubt you have probably seen them on the roads. The Tour of Bright will be the teams next race with some great results expected over the three days.
Marist Rugby
Patrick Bouquiaux is once again a silver sponsor of the Marist Rugby team, along with the U10’s and U11’s first division Royals Rugby teams. You will see Patrick every weekend out at the footy fields with his kids; he will probably be the one running the BBQ and talking up a storm!
Future 2 Wheel Classic
The annual flagship fundraiser, and a gruelling ride to boot, the Future 2 Wheel Classic has, over the last 5 years raised in excess of $500,000 to help young Australians who are doing it tough. Gerard Tiffen has participated in the ride for the last 3 years, but this year decided to skip the blisters, aches and pains and help raise much needed funds from home. Starting out from Manly’s ocean beach on 10th November, and riding over 1,100 kms from Sydney to Brisbane, the 12 cyclists raised another $100,000 for this great cause.
Pearce Panthers
Running alongside the Calwell football fields on a Thursday night, you’ll find David Friend encouraging the “Pearce Panthers” in their Summer Oztag competition. Currently third on the ladder, the U10 boys have their hearts set on a top finish by the end of the season.
The Hartley Ability Cycle Challenge
Teams of 12 cyclists will ride from Canberra to Mt Kosciusko and back – a distance of over 450kms – to raise money for accommodation and life options for people with physical and complex disabilities.
Starting out on the 28th November and due to arrive back in Canberra today the teams will be very happy to be home. Tiffen & Co were honoured to be able to sponsor such a worthy cause.
