A passionate advocate for the mortgage industry, David Friend joined Tiffen & Co in 2000 as a Mortgage Broker, and was welcomed as a shareholder and Director in 2005. He has been ranked in Australia’s Top 100 brokers for the past six years.
In 2012, David was also number 23 in the MPA Top 100 Brokers list across the county, and the only Canberran mortgage broker to beat him was Tiffen & Co’s Managing Director, Gerard Tiffen.
David believes Tiffen & Co is unique in many ways, one being the great level of service offered to their clients.

It’s for this reason that David cannot picture himself ever leaving the industry.

In addition to residential loans, David is also able to assist his clients with commercial and business lending, being accredited with all major lenders.
David enjoys being actively involved in the property market and has purchased a number of investment properties both in Canberra and interstate. He has firsthand knowledge of the investment market and a number of professional contacts to assist clients in many different areas of expertise when the time is right.
Outside work, when David isn’t entertaining or spending time with his family, he likes to spend time down the coast relaxing & fishing, or taking weekend road trips on his Harley with his wife.
