Luton Charity Ball

Luton Charity Ball

Live music, cabaret dancers and charity auctions were in full swing at the Paris themed Luton Charity Ball on Saturday 15 June at Hotel Realm.

Twenty Tiffen & Co staff, family and friends suited and frocked up for a night to remember where Richard Luton and his team hosted the social calendar highlight of the year.

Celebrity interior designer Darren Palmer was our Master of Ceremonies and guests donated generously, took part in a silent auction and thoroughly enjoyed the decadent three course meal. The night culminated with a very energetic live auction where a trip to Paris, an Ollo Industries bike and a Volkswagen Up were vigorously bid upon.

A moving tribute was made by Richard Luton to a female Luton staff member and kidney disease survivor (whose life was saved by a fellow Luton staff member by donating his kidney). The pair thanked the Canberra Hospital and expressed tremendous gratitude for saving her life.

The Luton Charity Ball was a complete sell out, raising  thousands of dollars for the Canberra Hospital Foundation where all the proceeds will go towards medical equipment for Canberra’s largest hospital.

Tiffen & Co’s own Jasmine Keene also took home the prize for best dressed female at the ball.
