The first step is to book an initial meeting with us. There is no fee or obligation to continue after this meeting. This meeting is designed to enable us to assess whether we are the right fit for you, and whether you would find value in our service.
At the first meeting you could expect us to discuss what’s important to you and your areas of concern. We will gather some information from you to get a baseline of where you currently stand.
We will then email you a detailed summary of what was discussed during your meeting and will include our initial ideas and any insurance quotes or fixed fee quotes as applicable. We follow this up with a telephone conversation to seek your feedback.
Should you decide to go ahead with our initial recommendations in full or part we will prepare for you a formal Statement of Advice outlining our final recommendations after having researched your existing arrangements and alternate options in full.
Assuming you are happy with our advice (we know you will be!) the next step is to implement the recommendations. For insurance this will involve us taking you through the entire insurance application process from the initial questionnaire and keeping you up-to-date on the progress until an offer of insurance is made. For our other financial planning services such as super consolidation or investment products, we prepare all the necessary paperwork, lodge it on your behalf, certify your ID where required and follow it through to completion.
Once your insurance cover or financial strategy is in place, our service does not stop there. We will review your situation to ensure that our advice continues to meet your needs. When it comes making a claim on your cover, we are your first port of call and encourage you to contact us to assist you in the claims process. While we would never expect you to encounter any difficulties, it always helps to have someone by your side who is familiar with the process.
