Tiffen & Co Digs Deep for MS Mega Swim
At Tiffen & Co, we’re big on supporting local charities, especially if it involves doing something active like the 24 hour Mega Swim for multiple sclerosis.
Tiffen & Co sponsored a number of swimmers in the MS Mega Swim which was held on Saturday 19 May at the AIS Aquatic Centre.
This year, 396 swimmers participated (consisting of 26 teams) and swam 1,747kms in 24 hours to raise money and awareness for multiple sclerosis. Each team had to have one member in the pool at all times for the complete 24 hour period.
The event, now in its 5th year, raised over $138,000 for the charity and the money will go towards supporting the 11,000 people living with MS in the Canberra and surrounds region.
